Netanyahu Says Hamas Wants to ‘Pile Up the Bodies’ for Sympathy

Israeli Prime Minister accused the Hamas of wanting to pile up bodies to gain sympathy from international communities. He also said that Israel had no choice but to defend itself and said the Palestinian militants are culpable for mounting civilian casualties in an interview with NBC’s, Brain Williams.

“They just don’t care. It’s important to make that clear. They are responsible for all the civilian deaths, which we seek to minimize.”

The Prime Minister then asked Williams, ““What would you do if American cities, where you’re sitting now, Brian, would be rocketed, would absorb hundreds of rockets? You’d say to your leader, ‘A man’s got to do what a man’s got to do.’ And a country’s got to do what a country’s got to do. We have to defend ourselves.”
Netanyahu blamed Hamas for hiding rockets inside schools and mosques to increase civilian casualties during the Israeli incursion, which began Thursday. More than 500 Palestinians have been killed. Eighteen Israeli soldiers and two Israeli civilians have been killed.
The Israeli Defense Force has also taken its war to Twitter in an effort to spread the idea that Hamas is trying to increase civilian causalities by hiding in heavily populated areas.

The Israeli Military operation “Defensive Eagle” started fourteen days ago on July 8 and began strictly as airstirkes on the Gaza Strip as reataltion for Gaza rocket attacks on Israel. It eventually turned into an air, sea, and land operation. The Israeli Defense force launched a ground invasion into Gaza on July 18, the eleventh day of Operation Protective Eagle.
